That solution comes with Microsoft 365 Apps, which falls under the Modern Policy-so, it’s continuously supported-and includes all the apps you are familiar with (e.g.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). To avoid potential security, productivity, and compliance risks, we recommend upgrading to Microsoft 365 E3. There is no set end date for support of Modern Policy products. As long as device configurations stay current on servicing and system requirements, Modern Policy products are continuously supported. Products and services, like Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Apps, follow the Modern Lifecycle Policy. Support for Fixed Policy products expires on a set timeline. Office 2013 and Office 2019 for Mac follow the Fixed Lifecycle Policy, which offers five years of Mainstream Support and, in the case of Office 2013, another five years of Extended Support. Important : Microsoft has no plans to offer the Extended Security Update (ESU) program for any of the products listed in this article.
